The IAOPCC (International Association Of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of pet cemeteries and crematories through public awareness programs. Founded in 1971 in West Chicago by Pat Blosser, our goal is to serve as a valuable resource for continuing education for our Members and to educate pet parents to the importance of seeking services from an IAOPCC Pet Cemetery/Crematory Member versus the other options available to them.
The IAOPCC represents the gold standard in both business and ethics in the aftercare industry. Being an IAOPCC Member assures your clients that they are dealing with a reputable provider offering the finest in aftercare for their pet. IAOPCC Members are expected to uphold the high standards set by the Association and are bound by the standards and practices set forth by the Association.
The IAOPCC operates on a budget that is supported only by dues and other contributions from its members and has no paid employees. All efforts are completely voluntary.
As a professional in the Pet Aftercare Industry, you are invited to join the IAOPCC. If you have not yet opened a pet cemetery and/or pet crematory, you may join IAOPCC as an Affiliate Member for only $250. This will allow you Membership access including all benefits with the exception of voting rights. It also delays the payment of the $100 initiation fee until you have a cemetery/crematory up and running. If you become a member, you are expected to attend one of our Member Training Sessions as well as our Annual Convention held in September each year. You are required to attend one Annual Convention within the first two years of becoming a member.
Participating in the IAOPCC as a member gives you the “edge” needed to become successful!
